DIED – At the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Israel Davis, near Sterling, Mr. John Willis, aged 93 years. Mr. Willis was a native of Devonshire, England. He moved to Canada in 1848 where he lived 7 years. In 1855 he immigrated to this State, and settled in the immediate vicinity of where he died. Mr. Willis was a firm believer in the doctrines taught in the Bible; and his last days were spent in a strong faith and trust in Jesus as his Savior.
