August Luett Dies in Local Hospital

August Luett, highly respected citizen of Maquoketa and for many years a resident of Jackson County died Wednesday at the City Memorial hospital, where he had been taken Monday suffering from an attack of acute indigestion.

Mr. Luett was born in Wheatland and for a number of years resided in the Baldwin community, moving to this city about 16 years ago. His wife preceded him in death six years ago. Surviving are several children.

The funeral service will be held from the Harrison funeral home Friday afternoon at two o’clock, the Rev. J. Mohr officiating. Burial will be made in the Buckhorn cemetery.
