July 16, 1918Receive News of Father’s Death
George Daudel of this city received a dispatch from Hot Springs, S. Dak., telling him of the death of his father, Gottlieb Daudel, who passed away Saturday. Mr. Daudel had been staying with his son Chris at Timber Lake, S. Dak., but about a week ago went to the Springs, thinking he would receive relief from heart trouble and dropsy. The remains were brought to the home of his son John, near Andrew, and the funeral was held from the Lutheran church this morning. Interment in Andrews cemetery.
