A. N. W. Petersen Dead

After an eight months’ illness with paralysis, A. N. W. Petersen passed away at his home in this city Monday morning. Deceased was born in North Germany Dec. 5, 1847, and came to this country in 1882, locating a year later near Welton where he followed the vocation of farming. In 1872 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Jessen to whom four children were born, two of whom survive with the bereaved wife and mother. The children are John of this city and Mrs. Henry Busch, Jr., also of Maquoketa. The funeral will be held from the home on West Platt street Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating. Interment will be made at Buckhorn.
