OBITUARY-
J. W. FLEMING, after much suffering, died at his home in his city at five o’clock Thursday morning of cancer of the stomach. Deceased was aged 66 years. He was well known in this county and section of the state. He was for many years a successful school teacher and filled the office of Superintendent of Schools very acceptably. He was for many years a prominent institute worker and was author of several educational treatises. For several years he has been a prominent leader in labor matters. He was an honest, capable, conscientious man. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church tomorrow morning at 10:30, conducted by the pastor, Rev. R. J. Langridge.
