Fall From Silo Was Cause of Death

Henry Prusia Received His Fatal Injuries

While at Work With Neighbor on Silo

The funeral party accompaning the remains of Henry Prusia from Ada, Minn., arrived in Preston Thursday evening, and were met at the train by a large number of sympathizing friends and relatives.

The remains were conducted to the auditorium of the Congregational church where they remained until after funeral services which were held Friday afternoon by Rev. T.R. Gray. Interment was made in Van Buren cemetery, and a large concourse followed the remains to the last resting place.

FALL FROM SILO

Mr. Prusia met his death in a fall from a new silo which he had just erected. A board on the top of the silo, on which he and another workman were standing while placing a spout in position, gave way precipitating both men to the bottom, a distance of 30 feet, onto a cement floor. The other workman fell on Mr. Prusia and was not badly injured while the latter was hurt internally and his ribs crushed. The accident occurred about 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. He lingered until about eight o'clock Wednesday morning when death relieved his sufferings.

Deceased was born and reared in Van Buren township and was 45 years, one month and 24[?] days of age. He was a son of George Prusia, a pioneer resident of Van Buren until his death in 1880. Mr. Prusia resided on a farm until about three years ago when he removed to Preston and operated the flouring mill for a short time, and traded for a large farm at Ada, Minn., on which he has resided about two years. In 1896, Mr. Prusia was married to Miss Eliza Koenemann to whom four children were born. She departed this life in 1906. He was married in 1908 to Eliza Tompkins Osburn, who with [the or two] children survive.

The tragic ending of the deceased is cause for widespread sympathy among a large circle of relatives and friends.
