Sabula-Mr. and Mrs. Percy Clark have received word that the bodies of their sons, Pvt. Robert W. Clark, army, and Pfc. Alfred D. Clark, marines, who were killed overseas in World War II, have arrived in the states.
Burial will be in the National cemetery at Keokuk, where two gravsites have been reserved so that the brothers will be interred side by side. Services will be held there at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, with customary military and religous services by veterans organizations and army and naval personnel.
Pvt. Robert Clark died of wounds Dec. 17, 1944 while serving in the Third army in Germany. He had returned to duty just 12 days previously after having been wounded Nov. 24. He entered service in March, 1944.
He was married July 8 , 1943 to Emma Toth, Niagara Falls, N.Y. Also surviving is a son, Robert Jr.
Pfc. Alfred Clark was killed in action on Okinawa, May 17, 1945. He too had been previously wounded in action and had returned to the front lines shortly before his death. he entered service in September. 1943.
The brothers are survived by their parents, five brothers and three sisters.
