Pneumonia Cause of Death.

Mrs. Con Nims Succumbs to Attack of Pneumonia, Funeral Arrangements not Completed.

Mrs. C. L. Nims, a life long resident of Jackson county, passed away Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock; following an attack of pneumonia.

Harriet Collipriest was born near Andrew, Iowa, on July 23, 1859 and grew to womanhood in that vicinity.

On December 11, 1879, in Maquoketa, Iowa, she was united in marriage to C. L. Nims.

They settled on a farm east of this city, which was still their home and where they lived and prospered for the past thirty-eight years.

Mrs. Nims will be missed by her family and friends, as hers was an unselfish nature, always thinking of the welfare of others.

Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Clyde, of Rock Island, Ill.; Gilbert of Ekalaka, Mont.; Verne of Carroll, Iowa; and Alva, Jessie, Marion and Alice at home.

Up to the hour of going to press funeral arrangements had not been completed.
