Died.
COOLEY.---Elam Lucius Cooley was born September, 24th, 1840, in Licking county, Ohio and died near Canton, Oct. 11th, 1908. He emigrated with his parents to Iowa in the fall of 1842 and located on farm near Emeline where he grew to manhood. He was one of a family of twelve children nine of whom with his parents preceded him to the other shore. He is survived by one brother and one sister, Mrs. McGaffey with whom he made his home. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday Oct. 13th, at 10:30 a. m. Rev. A. T. Foster officiating and the remains were interred in the Hickory Grove cemetery.
