Marcella Weber

Marcella L. Weber, 76, of Zwingle, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 1997, at Mercy Health Center, St. Joseph’s Unit, Dubuque.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek, with burial in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum at Mount Cavalry Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home in Dubuque, with a parish wake service at 5 p.m.

Visitation will also be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Weber was born Feb 18, 1921, in Preston, to Frederick and Mary Hageman Eggers.

She married Edward Weber Nov. 10, 1941, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bellevue.

She was employed at the former Dubuque Packing Co. for more than 30 years.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek, and its Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Edward; a daughter, Betty (Mrs. Jerrold) Oliver of Winterset; a son, Ronald (Mary Alice) Weber of Byron, Ill.; a sister, Mabel Keil of Bellevue; and five grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established.
