Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 11, for Eleanor Catherine Schipper, 71, of Bellevue. She died Sunday, July 8, at her home of heart failure.

The Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home.

The funeral was in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue, with burial in the Andrew Cemetery.

Eleanor Schipper was born May 1, 1913 in Bellevue to John and Susan Berendes Theisen. On Nov. 29, 1945 she married Johnnie L. Schipper in Bellevue. She worked at Goetz’s Bakery and was a clerk and manager for Hodoval Drug Store retiring in 1975.

She was a member of the Rosary Society, Navy Mothers, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and Senior Citizens.

Her husband and one sister, Mrs. Millard (Martha) Bees of Bellevue; three brothers, Clarence and Wilfred of Bellevue and Henry Theisen of Clinton, survive.

Her parents, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
