Mrs. E. McLaughlin Dies at Delmar; Rites to be Held Thursday

Mrs. Elizabeth McLaughlin, 74, died at 2:20 a.m., Tuesday at the home of a daughter in Delmar, following an illness of two months.

The body will remain at Carson-Balster chapel until the funeral Thursday. Service will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., and at St. Lawrence church in Otter Creek at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Fr. E. J. Loosbrock will officiate.

A daughter of Dan and Ellen Lambe, the deceased was born in Otter Creek on July 14, 1865, and always resided in this community. She was married April 23, 1895, to Frank McLaughlin, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are seven children, Dan, Frank, Ray and Justin McLaughlin, all of Maquoketa; Sister Mary Irene R. S. M., of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Frances Wolfe, of Lost Nation, and Mrs. Florence McCarthy, of Delmar.

She is also survived by two brothers, Dan Lambe, of Bernard, and Tom Lambe, of Otter Creek; and one sister, Mary Crane, of Chicago.
