Bridget Murry, one of the pioneers of Jackson county, died at her home a few miles southwest of this city, on the 27th inst., at the advanced age of 92 years. Deceased was the sister of Messrs. John and Luke Doyle, both pioneers of this locality, who passed away a number of years ago, and for the last few years has been making her home with her nephew, John B. Doyle. She was born in Ireland in 1800. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Bowen, at St. Peter’s church, on Friday, and the remains interred in the Catholic cemetery.
