Died.

CAMPBELL – At the residence of J. D. Smith, in Farmers Creek township, Tuesday evening, January 13th, 1880. Mr. Henry Campbell, in the 89th year of his age.

Mr. Campbell was born in Westmoreland county, Pa., in 1791, and fought in loyal defense of American interests in the war of 1812. In 1853 he emigrated to Iowa and has been a resident of Jackson county ever since. He leaves a family of six grown up children, a number of grand and great grand-children besides to mourn his decease.
