Death of Mrs. G. Truax

Mrs. Julia Truax of this city received a telegram this week from Atlanta, Ga., conveying the sad intelligence that Mrs. Dr. G. Truax died Monday in that city from the effects of a malignant tumor. She was a lady beloved by many friends in Maquoketa, and passes away at the ripe age of about 77 years. It is thought that after the funeral the remains will held in Atlanta until Spring when they will be removed to Genoa, Ill., and placed in the family lot there.
