Andrew Farm Woman Dies; Rites Held

Andrew, Apr. 10 – Mrs. John Gannon, 55, died suddenly in her farm home Monday evening. Funeral was held from the Haylock-O’Hara funeral home in Maquoketa to St. John’s Catholic church here at 9 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. William F. Powers officiated and interment was made in the church cemetery.

She was born June 30, 1902, at Andrew, daughter of William C. and Anna Back Kimball. On May 6, 1943, she married John Gannon in Andrew.

Survivors include her husband: a sister, Mrs. Mike (Marilla) Gannon of Delmar; and three brothers, Cyril Kimball of Charlotte, Willis Kimball of Des Moines and Kenneth Kimball of Maquoketa.
