Laura Grace Warren was born Jan. 15, 1887, at Maquoketa, a daughter of George and Coral Massey Warren.

At the age of three her father passed away. Her mother later married the late Eugene Davenport. The family moved later to Illinois. In 1902, at Viola, Ill., she was married to Everett Bolt. To this union was born seven children.

In March, 1912, the family moved from Illinois to the Buckhorn community. She attended the Goddard Methodist church and became a charter member of the Community Guild.

In later years the Bolt family moved to Maquoketa, where Mrs. Bolt became active in the Baptist church over a period of 20 years. Mr. and Mrs. Bolt observed their golden wedding anniversary on Feb. 2, 1952. Since then the couple has resided in Rock Island, Ill.

Mrs. Bolt died June 7 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Bowman, at Andrew.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Heathe of Clinton, Mrs. Laura Bowman of Andrew, and Mrs. Corabeth Dodds of Davenport; four sons, Clifford of Rock Island; Theodore of Woodhull, Ill., Everett, Jr., of Alton, Ill., and Warren of Maquoketa; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o’clock in the Haylock-O’Hara funeral home here. The Rev. Alvern Kinrade, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated. Soloist was Harry Hicks, Jr., with Mrs. Ralph Gee organist. Interment was made in the Buckhorn cemetery.

Pallbearers were Owen, Warren and Neal Bowman, James and Robert Hoppes and C. C. Ulvestad.
