Overcome By Heat.
Last Friday morning John Streets, a young man about nineteen years of age, a son of John Streets, Sr., residing one mile and a half west of town, after arising and dressing himself he walked around the house when he complained to his folks of feeling sick. Not long after this he was taken with violent vomiting going into spasms. Dr. Luckey of Baldwin, was called to his aid immediately. When the doctor arrived he pronounced recovery beyond hope. Before noon the boy had passed over to the silent majority. The supposition is the young man over heated himself the day before (Thursday) working on a bridge his father was erecting over Pine Creek for the county. Mr. Streets and family have the entire sympathies of the community. His funeral took place at the residence Sunday forenoon and was presided over by Rev. John Said of Cherry Grove.
