Died.

LYMAN – In this city, the 9th instant, at the residence of her son, S. D. Lyman, Esq., Mrs. Marcia D. Lyman, aged 76 years.

The deceased had long been a resident of this community, and was widely known and beloved. She had devoted a long life to the service of the Master. When He called she was ready to go, sometimes feeling impatient that the chariot wheels so long delayed their coming. She knew in whom she had believed, and that He was able to keep that which she had committed unto Him. As she drew near the Dark River objects on the other side appeared bright and luminous. Over the intervening stream she was quietly borne to her Home, whither dear and loved ones had been taken, to join with them in praising God and the Lamb.
