Body of Jackson County Boy Reaches U. S. From France

Mike O’Connor has received a telegram from the war department stating that the body of his son, Roy J. O’Connor, who died in Hericourt, France, October 25, 1918, while serving his country in the world war, will arrive in New York about May 21st. The local American Legion Post will have charge of the funeral and committal services and full military honors will be accorded the fallen hero. Due notice of the service will be given in later issue.
