DIED
-Mrs. Kate D. Pollans, at one time a teacher at the Preston schools, dropped dead of apoplexy in the school room at Pasedena, California, a few days ago. She was a highly intellectual and beautiful woman, aged about 35 years, and leaves a greatly bereaved husband, mother and sister.
