A. H. Potter, one of the pioneers of Jackson County and whose home was at LaMotte for a great number of years, died at Plattsmouth, Nebraska, last Thursday, aged 83 years. Mr. Potter enjoyed to a remarkable degree, the love and esteem of all who knew him. The remains were brought back to LaMotte for interment.
