Antone Schuster, a pioneer resident of Washington township, passed out of this life after a long illness, at his late home in Dubuque, Saturday morning early, aged 70 years. Mr. Schuster came to this country from Germany when a young man and by industry, and good business management acquired a large estate. Two years ago, he retired from his farm five miles northwest of town and has since been a resident of Dubuque. He served as an officer of Washington township, for a number of years, which he did honorably. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and six sons. His funeral was held Monday morning, with interment in Mellory cemetery.
