G. H. Busch, 77, Dies; Funeral Services Set

Last rites for Gerhardt H. Busch, 77, who died Tuesday in his home at Nashville, will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Carson funeral home. The Rev. Donald F. Lehman, pastor of the Evangelical & Reformed church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Buckhorn cemetery.

He was born Feb. 12, 1879, near Nashville, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Busch, He married Bertha Tamm Dec. 16, 1903. She died in 1935. On Sept. 12, 1941, he married Ivy Elliott in Rock Island, Ill. She survives.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Nina Weirup, Mrs. Minnie Buck, Mrs. Lorraine Owen and Mrs. Helen Hute of Maquoketa and Mrs. Velma Duhme of Omaha, Nebr., two brothers, Richard of Maquoketa and William of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Louis Johnson of Oxford Junction, Ia.; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
