Maquoketa Record, May 7, 1907:
Ora Hunter, a young man about 25 years of age, died at his home in Bellevue on Friday last. The funeral occurred there Sunday in charge of the Masons. Capt. and Mrs. Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hunter attended the funeral, going over on the train Saturday evening and returning Sunday by team. The deceased was a fine young man, a nephew of E.B.Hunter.
