LAWRENCE J. HARPST SERVICES HERE.
Last rites for a former Maquoketan, Lawrence J. Harpst, 64, of Aurora, Ill., were held in the Carson funeral home at 2 p.m., Monday. The Rev. James L. Postel, pastor of St. Mark's Episcopel church conducted the services and burial was made in the Esgate cemetery.
Mr. Harpst died Saturday in Aurora. He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Thompson whom he married July 29, 1939, a daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Regnier of Mountain Home, Ark, and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
