Frank M. Watson, 69, 2232 W. Pleasant Street Davenport, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, January 8th at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Watson was born April 7, 1888 in Maquoketa, Ia. He married Veda Hamley July 9, 1912 in Davenport. Formerly employed as a purchasing agent for Federal Suriety Agency, he worked for the last 27 years as a foreman at the Rock Island Arsenal.

Survivors are his wife, five sisters, Virginia Evans, Davenport; Rose Harkey, Iowa City; Bernice Olsen, Stockton, Ca.; Laura DeDecker, Cedar Rapids; Mae Koerner, Dallas, Tx. and two brothers, Leo Watson of Des Moines and William of Hollywood, Fl.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hill and Fredericks Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Figge offciating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
