Former Resident Dies At Detroit, Michigan.
The body of the late W. Morden Ward, who died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Detroit, Mich., was brought to this city today, and funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of John Anderson on West Maple Street, Rev. J. M. Carlson, pastor of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Ward was formerly a Jackson County resident, having been born and grew to manhood in Farmers Creek Township. He served a term of two years as county superintendent of Jackson County. He is survived by his wife, one son, Paul Ward of Detroit, Mich., one daughter, Mrs. C.D.Deppe of Ft. Dodge, also one sister, Mrs. Anna Beedle of this city, and one brother, John Ward of Oak Park, Ill.
