Jackson Sentinel, Nov. 12, 1903:
Mrs. Jane Wright was born Sept. 2, 1835, in the state of Vermont, and lived there until she was married to Mr. R.B.Booth, April 8, 1860. To this union were born seven children. Mr. Booth lived with his companion until his death, which occurred in the year 1872. Mrs. Jane Booth was united in marriage to Mr. J.H.Conery in 1878, and to this union was born one child, a son. Mrs. Conery died Oct. 31, 1903, age 68 years. The funeral was held at the home of the deceased, about one mile north of Maquoketa. Elder John W. Said spoke words of comfort to father and children and a large number of friends were there to pay their last tribute to a loving wife and mother. After service she was laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
