PATRICK SHEEHAN DIES HERE MONDAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon for Patrick M. Sheehan who died Monday evening at the Gilmore Nursing home, Maquoketa, after a lengthy illness.
Service was conducted by the Rev. Milton Nothdurft in the Carson funeral home. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Sheehan was born Dec. 14, 1871, the son of Patrick Sheehan and Sara Davison, both deceased. He was a bachelor and farm laborer.
Surviving are a brother, Port, of Hawarden, and three sisters, Lucy Sheehan of Maquoketa, Elizabeth of Davenport and Mrs. Mary Snodgrass of Presho, S.D. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
