DAILSY MAE LARKEY DIES SUNDAY; RITES HELD WEDNESDAY

Daisy Mae Larkey died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Lura Owens, near Joinerville after a month's illness.
The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson funeral home in Maquoketa and burial was in Waterford cemetery.
Mrs. Larkey was born June 4, 1883 in Emeline, the daughter of Alonzo Templeton and Emma Green Templeton. She was married to Willie Larkey Dec. 24, 1902 in Maquoketa. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by four children, Don Larkey of Clinton, Lura Owens, Lyle Larkey of Oxford Junction and Dorothy Mayfield of Olin; two brothers, Don Templeton of Chicago and Allie Templeton of Maquoketa; three sisters, Blanche of Preston, Alta Harbert of Maquoketa and Meta Abrams of Anamosa, and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
