WALTER RAAB, 77 DIES IN DUBUQUE
Walter Raab, 77, died Wednesday night in a Dubuque hospital following an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services for Mr. Raab will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Carson funeral home. the Reb. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the local Methodist church will officiate and burial will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Born April 23, 1875, in Iron Hill Mr. Raab was the son of Joseph and Almira Shady Raab. His wife, the former Ruth Burrows, died in 1946.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Clella Cavin of Iron Hill, Opal Hansen, Leota Veit, both of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Catherine Faaborg of Cedar Rapids; one son, Harold Raab of Hawthorne, Calif.; one brother, Ernest of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Alice Eck of Florence, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.DEATH DATE: April 16, 1952
