MARION K. RANDOLPH
Services were held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Maquoketa, for Marion K. Randolph, 49, who died Tuesday morning, February 20, 1979, at Jackson County Public Hospital. The Rev. Harold Kumpf officiated and burial was in the Buckhorn Cemetery.
Mr. Randolph was born January 21, 1930, in McCausland, to James and Frieda Klemme Randolph. On July 30, 1950, he married Leora Bartels in Maquoketa.
Mr. Randolph was an insurance salesman in Maquoketa for many years. He also worked as a rural mail carrier. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge No. 36 AF-AM, and the A and A Scottish Rite Free Masonry of Clinton. Masonic services were held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Carson Funeral Home.
Survivors include his widow, Leora, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lauleen) Warner of Maquoketa, Mrs. Paul (Margo) Christiansen of Delmar, two sons, Mike and Lynn, both at home; one granddaughter; two brothers, Milo, of Willows, California and Melvin of Delmar; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Deinel, of Kent City, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa, was in charge of arrangements.
