ERNEST M. STOLL DIES SUNDAY

Ernest M. Stoll, 88, died about 10:30 p.m., Sunday at his home on North Anderson street.

Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Carson funeral home with the Rev. Milton Nothdurft officiating. Burial was made at Spragueville.

Mr. Stoll was born in Germany Aug. 23, 1882, a son of Ernest and Dorothea Pottenberg Stoll. On Sept. 16, 1886, he was married to Margaretha Ebener in Chicago. She preceded him in death about two years ago. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Meta Petersen of Maquoketa; two sons, Carl of Preston and Franz of Maquoketa; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded by a sister.
