DEWEY WEETS, 53, DIES FRIDAY

Monmouth, Mar. 17 - Services for Harold Dewey Weets, 53, who died Friday night at his farm home near here, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Monmouth Methodist church. The Rev. Wallace Oursler will officiate and burial will be in Monmouth cemetery. The body will repose in the Carson funeral home, Maquoketa, until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to the church.

The son of William and Mary Beck Weets, he was born Feb. 7, 1899, in Maquoketa. He was married in Black Duck, Minn., Sept. 3, 1937, to Jessie Streets who survives.

He also leaves on brother, John Weets of Davenport, and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Coffin of Monmouth, Mrs. Tilda Mathews of Morrison, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Mudd of Maquoketa.
