RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. C. M. TUBBS WHO DIED MONDAY

Mrs. C. M. Tubbs, 48, died Monday, April 5, at St. Luke's hospital in Davenport where she had been a patient for a few days. Funeral service was held Wednesday at Carson Balster funeral home. Rev. Howard Beil officiated and burial was in Union cemetery.

Mary Lane, daughter of William and Ella Smith Lane, was born Dec. 16, 1900, and was married Sept. 9, 1919, to Clifton M. Tubbs.

Surviving are the husband, two sons, Edward of Lost Nation and Charles of Delmar; three brothers Leo, Frank and Joe Lane of Maquoketa; three sisters, Myrtle Schmidt, Alice Kinrade and Florence Bennis, and her father, William Lane. Her mother and one brother, Charles, preceded her in death.
