GEORGE F. DRENNING DIES TUESDAY MORNING IN LOCAL HOSPITAL

George F. Drenning, 80, died Tuesday morning, April 6, at Maquoketa hospital. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Carson Balster funeral home, Rev. Howard Beil officiating. Burial will be at Zwingle.

Mr. Drenning, son of James and Elizabeth Rathie Drenning, was born March 24, 1868, at Holy Cross, and his entire life was spent in Dubuque and Jackson counties.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jeanne Liable of Maquoketa and Mrs. Gertrude Hickson of Zwingle.
