MRS. HALLIE WALKER DIES IN DAVENPORT; FORMER MAQUOKETAN

Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at Davenport for Mrs. Hallie Walker, 74, former Maquoketan whe died Saturday in a Davenport hospital. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Maquoketa.

Operator of a second hand store in Davenport since 1944, Mrs. Walker resided in Maquoketa for many years. She was born March 22, 1875, in Davenport and was married in 1900 to Joseph Walker who preceded her in death.

In recent years she had resided in Davenport with a sister, Mrs. Maude Hansen.

She was a member of the Congregational church and Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Leland of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Hansen of Davenport; two brothers, Charles A. McGill of Decatur, Ill., and George McGill of Davenport, six nephews and two nieces.
