MRS. CARL WILMS FURNERAL RITES ARE HELD MONDAY

Mrs. Carl Wilms died Friday at a Davenport hospital after a brief illness. Funeral service was held Monday at the First Lutheran church. Rev. Harold Kumpf officiated and burial was in Andrew cemetery.

Ricka Gerke, daughter of Fred and Clara Robbe Gerke was born in Jackson county December 1, 1891, and was married to Carl Wilms at Andrew April 19, 1911. Their home for many years was on a farm near Maquoketa but recent years they have been residents of Maquoketa.

Surviviing are the husband and four children, Elmer of Perry, Iowa, Harold of Maquoketa, Leora Hale of Clinton and Delores Casad of Dewitt; three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Felderman, Mrs. Lillie Weise and Mrs. Veriana Gable of Bellevue, and seven grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of the Lutheran church and Ladies society.
