BALDWIN — Wanda Lee Clark, 71, of Baldwin, died Thursday at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque.

Private family graveside services and burial will be held at a later date at the Ozark Cemetery, rural Monmouth, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.

She was born March 3, 1936, in Anamosa to Chester and Winona Carr Huffman. She married Marion W. Clark on Nov. 14, 1953, in Maquoketa.

She was educated in Jackson County.

She first worked with Bristol’s store, Monmouth. She then worked with the Pacific Coast Feather Co., Maquoketa, for several years as a supervisor. She also operated a bar in Monmouth with her son, Donald, called The Roost for five years.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Carla) Clark of Monmouth, Stanley (Vicky) Clark of Monmouth, Thomas (Judy) Clark of Wyoming, Iowa, Kathy (Larry) Williams of Baldwin and Debra (Ronald) Williams of Wyoming; brothers, Robert Heister and Carl (Shirley) Huffman, both of Maquoketa; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A Wanda Lee Clark Memorial Fund has been established.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son.
