MRS. O. HANSEN DIES THURSDAY AT AGE OF 70
Mrs. Oce Hansen, 70, died at her home in Maquoketa Thursday morning, April 19.
Funeral service was held at 2:30 P.M., Saturday in the Carson funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Dean officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Grace Ethlyn Bently was born Oct. 10, 1880, in Maquoketa, a daughter of Albert and Pheloma Bagley Bentley. She was married in Maquoketa on April 17, 1901, to Oce Hansen, who survives. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last week. Mrs. Hansen was a member of the Women's Relief corps.
Surviving besides her husband are her three daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Gladys) Triska, of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Steve (Madge) Stuckel, and Mrs. Glen (Wanda) Davis, both of Maquoketa; a brother Clifford Bentley of Winthrop; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Dubert, of Los Gatos, Calif., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
