ALDIS BURT RITES HELD MONDAY; BURIAL IN MT. HOPE CEMETERY

Aldis Burt, 44, died Saturday at Gilmore Nursing home following a four month illness. Funeral service was held Monday at Carson and Balster funeral home. Rev. Harry Green officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Mr. Burt was born Aug. 7, 1903 at Maquoketa, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard L. Burt. He was never married.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Jennie Hicks of Maquoketa, a brother, Harold D. of Toronto, a sister, Mrs. Ora Betts of Calamus, a half brother, Albert Burt of Clinton, a half-sister, Mrs. Gladys Moeller of Goose Lake. One brother preceded him in death.
