RITES AT SPRAGUEVILLE FOR LOUIS KEMP
Funeral service was held Feb. 9 at Salem Lutheran church in Spragueville for Louis Kemp, 77, whose sudden death occured Feb. 6 at his home near Spragueville. Rev. Kromberger officiated and burial was in Spragueville cemetery. Flower girls were Mrs. Gerald Stamp, Mrs. Nick Thillmony, Mrs. John Regenwether, and Helen Sterbanz. Pall bearers were Gerald Stamp, Nick Thillmony, John Regenwether, H. L. Thiede, John Schmidt and A.C. Oetke.
Mr. Kemp was born May 17, 1871, at Spragueville and was married Feb. 27, 1900, to Bertha Sump. Their home has always been in the vicinity of his birth.
Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Minnie, and two sons, August and Elmer at home; one son Albert in Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Christina Berg. Two brothers preceded him in death.
