MRS. W. R. DORAN DIES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. W. R. Doran, 67, died at 3 a.m., Wednesday at ther home on West Platt street, Maquoketa. She had been ill about three months.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday in the Carson funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Dean officiating. Burial will be made in Mt. Hope.

Alma J. Jones was born Sept. 8, 1883, in Springfield, Mo., a daughter of John and Eliza Morgan Jones. She was married Sept. 19, 1904, in Spring Valley, Ill., to W. R. Doran, who survives. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving besides her husband are her mother, in California, a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Macomber, of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Mary Riley, of Kansas City, Mo., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, two sons, two daughters, one sister, and two brothers.
