Addie Woodard Rites MondayFuneral services for Mrs. Addie Woodard, 90, who died Friday morning in the Hegarty nursing home, Delmar, were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Carson funeral home here. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Maquoketa Methodist church, officiated. Interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Woodard, well-known figure for many years in W.C.T.U. circles and a long-time member of the Daughters of the King of the Methodist church, was born Mar. 3, 1861, in Esgate, the daughter of John and Sarah Liston Roush. Her husband, Lewis, died several years ago.
In addition to her parents and husband, one daughter and three sisters preceded her in death.
