RITES WEDNESDAY FOR JOHN WALKER

John Walker, 62, died Sunday night at his home south of Cascade. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carson and Balster funeral home. Rev. Rubesh of Cascade officiated and burial was in Andrew cemetery.

John Calvin Walker was born Jan. 29, 1886, at Fulton, a son of George and Amy Ripple Walker. He was married to Ethel Cheney Fev. 12, 1921, at Andrew and their home has always been in this vicinity except for the past year they have lived at Cascade.

He is survived by the widow, one son, David, at home, one sister, Mrs. Jane Ripperton of Emeline, and four grandchildren. One daughter died in 1908.
