EARL J. NIMS DIES WEDNESDAY

Earl Jackson Nims, 49, died Wednesday morning in his home near Maquoketa, following a four month illness.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Carson funeral home. Burial will be made at Bridgeport.

Mr. Nims was born near Maquoketa March 14, 1902, a son of Julius and Nellie Rowe Nims. His mother survives. On Nov. 21, 1925, he was married to Martha Whitely in Fulton, Ill. She also survives.

Besides his mother and wife, he leaves three brothers, Floyd of Racine, Wis., Walter of Davenport and Vernon of Maquoketa, and two sisters, Vivian Richardson and Margery Barb both of Dubuque.
