WILLIAM KELLEY, 80, DIES SUNDAY; FUNERAL RITES HELD TUESDAY
William Kelley, 80, died early Sunday morning at the Henningsen nursing home, Maquoketa.
Funeral service was held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, in Sacred Heart Catholic church with the Rev. E. W. Loosbrock officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Hope cemetery with Carsons in charge.
Mr. Kelley was born in Fairfield township, Jackson county, on Oct. 10, 1870, and spent most of his life in Maquoketa.
He is survived by two brothers, Timothy and John both of Maquoketa, and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Salts of West Lebanon, Ind., and Mrs. Martha Corley of Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Clara Isabell, one brother and four sisters.
