DIES FOLLOWING SHORT ILLNESS

Word has been received here this week of the death of Darlene Alonda Brush, 12-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Brush of LaPlata, Mo. Mrs. Brush was the former Marion Smith of Maquoketa. Darlene died Mar. 11 in a Kirksville, Mo., hospital after a brief illness.

Services were held Mar. 13 in LaPlata. Darlene was born July 1, 1939 at West Union. Two years ago she moved with her parents to Missouri. She was active in 4-H club work.
