MRS. WM. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL SERVICES MONDAY AFTERNOON

Funeral services for Mrs. William Schneider, 79, of Maquoketa, who died Friday afternoon in the Jackson County Public hospital were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Haylock-O'Hara funeral home. The Rev. Alvern Kinrade, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated and interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.

As Kate, she was born Nov. 2, 1875, in Clinton county, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Bowman Sims. On Oct. 4, 1893, she was married in Maquoketa to William Schneider, who survives. She was a member of the Methodist church and of the Rebekah lodge.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grace Moore of Zanesville, Ohio, and Miss Jennie Sims of Maquoketa; and one brother, Ed Sims also of Maquoketa.
